About the role
NVIDIA is seeking senior engineers to develop and optimize its AI platform using JAX, focusing on performance improvements in deep learning frameworks.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement core JAX components and drive peak performance on NVIDIA hardware.
- Collaborate with AI researchers and product leaders to build future‑proof models and tools.
- Build tooling that increases efficiency for teams developing AI‑based systems.
- Bridge cutting‑edge numerical computing research with real‑world product applications.
Required profile
- B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Strong communication and planning skills, able to work across multi‑functional teams and geographies.
Required skills
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python programming.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit‑learn).
- Understanding of CPU and GPU architectures, numeric libraries, and modular software design.
- Familiarity with JAX, Autograd, tracing, code generation, and DSL compilers.
