Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the HR/TA team of a leading biopharmaceutical organisation in Basel. You will partner with hiring managers, senior leadership and HR business partners to design and execute recruitment strategies for a range of technical and specialist functions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop research strategies and build pipelines of qualified candidates across multiple functions and seniority levels.
• Act as a strategic recruitment partner, advising stakeholders on talent markets and sourcing approaches for hard‑to‑fill positions.
• Manage the full‑cycle recruitment process, from sourcing and assessment to offer and hire, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
• Monitor industry, geographic and talent‑market trends to inform recruitment strategies.
• Lead or support projects such as employer branding, social media outreach, recruitment technology upgrades and process improvements.

Required profile

• Proven talent acquisition experience, preferably within life sciences.
• Strong track record recruiting mid‑to‑senior level technical and specialist roles.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with hiring managers and senior stakeholders as a trusted advisor.
• Excellent sourcing skills across active and passive candidate markets, including social media platforms.
• Strong analytical, organisational and project‑management capabilities with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
