Senior Technical SEO Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Technical SEO Specialist to lead the optimisation of a fast‑growing digital platform in Switzerland. The role focuses on improving visibility across traditional search engines and emerging AI‑driven discovery channels, working closely with content, engineering and editorial teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the technical SEO strategy to maximise organic traffic.
• Conduct comprehensive audits covering site architecture, crawling, indexation, Core Web Vitals, structured data and internal linking.
• Research, test and implement new approaches such as Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) and Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO).
• Monitor rankings, AI citations, click‑through rates and other KPIs, delivering regular performance reports.
• Build AI‑assisted workflows for SEO analysis, reporting and content production.
• Collaborate with engineering and editorial teams to implement scalable technical improvements.
• Stay up‑to‑date with evolving search technologies and emerging discovery platforms.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technical SEO at scale, with a strong analytical mindset.
• Hands‑on expertise in SEO tools and platforms.
• Familiarity with AI‑powered search experiences and emerging digital trends.
• Ability to work independently and guide cross‑functional teams.
