Singing Entertainment Host

About the role

Join A-ROSA as a Singing Entertainment Host and lead a variety of onboard entertainment programs on premium river vessels across Europe. You will engage guests with music, games, and events while ensuring smooth technical operation.

Key responsibilities

• Host and moderate entertainment areas, presenting options and supporting guest artists.
• Organise, execute and moderate evening and dance events, "Disco Nights", quizzes, movie screenings and board‑game meetups.
• Provide technical support for speakers, microphones and mixing consoles.
• Design entertainment programmes in coordination with the Hotel Manager and create a plan for each trip.
• Assist colleagues during embarkation and disembarkation days and moderate route highlights.

Required profile

• Secure moderation in German (B2) and English (B2) with excellent communication skills.
• Many years of experience in the entertainment sector as a host, DJ or singer on hotels, cruise ships or similar hospitality venues.
• Creative, problem‑solving mindset and strong organisational talent.
• Friendly, well‑groomed appearance and high service readiness towards guests.

Required skills

• Technical know‑how in handling sound and lighting systems.
• Operation of speakers, microphones and mixing consoles.
