Site Data Operations Lead

About the role

The Site Data Operations Lead is a strategic leadership position within Roche's Digital & Operational Excellence organization. Based at the site, the role serves as the single point of contact and executive liaison for site‑level engagement with global data product teams, driving enterprise‑wide digital and operational strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the strategic site‑level single point of contact (SPoC) and lead engagements with enterprise data product teams.
• Define and fulfill complex data requirements for strategic enterprise data products, aligning data architecture with business strategy.
• Oversee global data governance and readiness frameworks at the source level, ensuring high‑integrity, continuous data availability.
• Lead cross‑functional collaboration with global data product teams, Data Domain Leads, and site leadership to enable scalable data flows.
• Provide end‑to‑end visibility of the site’s data landscape and manage constraints for global data product owners.
• Drive adoption of data governance best practices and enforce compliance with global standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Informatics, Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in enterprise data strategy and management.
• Proven ability to architect and deliver complex, global data analytics solutions using modern, agile paradigms.
• Strong knowledge of data management within Pharma Tech Ops or similar industries.
• Executive‑level communication and stakeholder management skills.
