Site Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead our industrial operations in Sierre. In this senior leadership position you will be accountable for overall plant performance, safety, quality, delivery and cost targets while driving continuous improvement and long‑term competitiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead production, engineering and operational excellence functions to meet KPI targets (safety, quality, cost, productivity, delivery).
• Ensure strict compliance with Swiss labour law, EHS standards and company policies, fostering a strong safety culture.
• Drive Lean‑based continuous improvement, optimise processes, productivity and cost efficiency.
• Define and implement site strategy aligned with business objectives and lead investment projects and technology upgrades.
• Manage the site budget, performance targets and ensure sustainable profitability.
• Develop and coach a workforce of over 200 employees, building a high‑performance, accountable culture.
• Collaborate with matrix functions (Quality, Supply Chain, EHS, HR, Finance) and represent the site internally and externally.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven leadership experience in industrial production environments.
• Strong track record in operations management, continuous improvement and financial accountability.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix organisation.
• Fluent in French and English; German is a strong asset.
