Site Operations Controller Ingredients

About the role

Givaudan is looking for a Site Operations Controller Ingredients in Vernier, Switzerland. The role provides business support to the local operations manager to ensure compliance, acts as a member of the Site Operations Management Team and drives process improvement and business decisions at site level. It reports directly to the Regional Operations Controller for EMEA and is based on site.

Key responsibilities

• Business partnering: share risks and opportunities affecting operations with the Operations team and propose and follow up on mitigation actions.
• Business insight: give Operations Management interpretive and predictive operational and financial information, and analyse monthly KPIs.
• Investments: drive the site investment process, validate business cases and follow up approved investments within scope and budget.
• Budget cycle: manage the annual budget process and performance review, including annual standard product costing and acting as the link with the Pricing organisation.
• Forecasting and planning: support business plans, budgets, forecasts and cost savings, and follow up cost centres and investments, resolving variances.
• Internal controls: oversee and evaluate internal controls and ensure compliance with the Corporate Finance Manual.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics, or professional accountancy qualification.
• 5+ years of experience in cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.
• Fluency in French and English.
• Ability to explain complex matters simply and to work with diverse stakeholders at all levels.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
• ERP systems, ideally SAP FICO.
