Social Media Manager for Defence‑Tech Company

About the role

Destinus, a European defence‑technology manufacturer, is looking for a native‑English Social Media Manager who can give its serious products a fresh, engaging voice online. You will own the brand’s presence on LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter) and YouTube, turning complex defence topics into compelling stories without resorting to stale corporate jargon.

Key responsibilities

• Create original, high‑impact copy and visual concepts for social media posts.
• Develop and maintain a cross‑platform content calendar aligned with product launches and events.
• Plan, execute, and report on social campaigns, ensuring timely publication and stakeholder approval.
• Manage event‑related communications, from pre‑announcement to post‑event wrap‑ups.
• Collaborate with internal teams to guarantee accuracy, consistency, and alignment with the company’s positioning.

Required profile

• Native English speaker with a genuine interest in defence technology.
• Proven portfolio demonstrating sharp, original voice and ability to avoid buzzwords.
• Comfortable challenging conventional “tone‑of‑voice” guidelines.
• Ability to think strategically and communicate ideas clearly in one concise paragraph.

Required skills

• Strong copywriting and storytelling abilities.
• Hands‑on experience managing LinkedIn, X (Twitter) and YouTube channels.
