Software Engineer – Automation & PLC Development

About the role

We are seeking a Software Engineer to design and implement innovative software solutions for PLC programming and high‑level languages within an established automation company. You will contribute to cutting‑edge projects that enhance control systems for industrial customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop software for PLC platforms and integrate high‑level language components.
• Conceptualise, program, and optimise control systems for automation projects.
• Test, validate, and document solutions while working closely with cross‑functional teams.
• Participate in continuous improvement of development processes and tools.

Required profile

• Completed studies in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a comparable field.
• Analytical thinking and a structured approach to problem solving.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.

Required skills

• PLC programming (Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff, Codesys).
• Proficiency in C++.
• Proficiency in C#.

• Proficiency in Python.
