Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a strong Software Engineer to join intonate’s mission‑driven team building an integrated platform that streamlines administrative work for healthcare professionals. You will work across the stack, collaborating with product managers and domain experts to design and deliver reliable, scalable systems that support clinician workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, design and implement new features for the core platform and related applications.
• Build and maintain scalable backend services, APIs and data pipelines that enable end‑to‑end clinician workflows.
• Take ownership of the codebase, ensuring high quality, security and rapid delivery.
• Continuously improve system performance, reliability and development processes.

Required profile

• Several years of experience building products with modern technologies.
• Comfortable working across the full technology stack with a focus on backend development.
• Ability to deliver features end‑to‑end with limited guidance in a fast‑paced environment.
• Clear communication skills for technical and product discussions.

Required skills

• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Design and implementation of scalable backend systems, APIs and data pipelines.
• Knowledge of architecture, security best practices.
• Familiarity with streaming audio, transcription or real‑time media pipelines.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks.
