Software Engineer (m/f/d) – Core Financial Services

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Chiasso team and help build and maintain the core financial services that power MF Group products. You will work in an agile, informal environment on ledger, invoicing and payment solutions for merchants and consumers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test and ship robust, maintainable software, APIs and workflows for financial services.
• Collaborate with the team to improve architecture, reduce complexity and optimise production systems.
• Participate in the full development lifecycle from analysis to testing and delivery.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong critical‑thinking attitude and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Effective communication in English (Italian preferred) and ability to work collaboratively.

Required skills

• Java programming language.
• Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, etc.).
• Experience with containerised architectures and scalable modular applications.
