Specialist Tax Reporting – Fund Investors (GSA/DACH)

About the role

We are seeking a Specialist in Tax Reporting for fund investors covering the GSA/DACH region. The role is based in Zurich and supports the tax department of an international bank, acting as the bridge between fund management, investors and external advisers.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary interface for tax controlling and reporting on fund investments.
• Prepare, review and provide tax‑related key figures in line with the German Investment Tax Act.
• Produce tax reports, calculate capital participation ratios, partial exemptions and other tax‑relevant data.
• Assist investment teams with fund structuring, due‑diligence reviews and tax advice for new fund launches.
• Answer tax‑related queries from investors and support internal teams on day‑to‑day matters.
• Coordinate external tax advisers and auditors, ensuring quality for the annual German tax compliance process.
• Monitor compliance with international regulations such as CRS and AEOI.
• Participate in ad‑hoc tax projects as required.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Tax Law or Finance with further tax training.
• Professional experience with an international fund manager, custodian bank, third‑party administrator, Big Four audit firm or tax consultancy.
• Strong analytical ability to translate complex tax legislation into accounting logic.
• Excellent multitasking, coordination and proactive work approach.
• Fluent in German and English with strong communication skills.
