SQL Developer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer to join our partner’s team in Switzerland. In this client‑facing position you will design, implement, and support data‑driven reporting solutions across multiple environments, working closely with both technical and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Engage directly with clients and stakeholders to gather reporting requirements.
• Translate business needs into robust SQL‑based solutions and reporting configurations.
• Connect remotely to client systems to install, configure, and maintain reporting software.
• Investigate data sources, extract and analyse data from databases and business applications.
• Review and optimise existing database structures, relationships and data flows.
• Develop and maintain SQL objects such as views, stored procedures, functions and tables.
• Apply fixes, updates and performance improvements in Microsoft SQL Server environments.
• Troubleshoot database, connectivity and networking issues, collaborating with client IT teams as needed.
• Deliver user training and provide post‑implementation support.

Required profile

• Strong professional experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Advanced SQL querying skills, including joins, aggregations, subqueries and troubleshooting.
• Practical problem‑solving approach and ability to communicate with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
