About the role

The 12‑month pre‑HES internship in Food Technology at Nestlé Suisse S.A. offers a cross‑functional experience across regulatory & scientific affairs, quality management, nutrition and sensory testing. It is intended for students who will start a Bachelor of Science in Food Technology at HES‑SO and need one year of professional experience before their studies.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure label compliance with Swiss food regulations and support the development of product labels and communication materials.
• Analyse and control products for release, perform monthly quality data checks and investigate customer product returns.
• Verify nutritional label compliance with internal guidelines and provide nutritional support to business partners.
• Participate in sensory testing sessions.

Required profile

• Future student in HES‑SO Valais‑Wallis or ZHAW Wädenswil in Food Technology.
• Passion for food, team spirit and a positive mindset.
• Strong organisational skills and structured work approach.
• Proficiency in French or German as a mother tongue with good competence in the other languages and English.
