Strategic Partnerships Dealmaker

About the role

Walrus is seeking a senior Strategic Partnerships Dealmaker to drive high‑impact collaborations at the intersection of artificial intelligence, data infrastructure and decentralized technologies. You will work in a fast‑moving, innovative environment, shaping long‑term business value through complex partnership agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and manage strategic partnership opportunities across AI, data infrastructure, compute networks, developer platforms and decentralized ecosystems.
• Build and nurture relationships with industry leaders, technology providers and ecosystem participants.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities and lead negotiations from outreach to contract execution.
• Design creative deal structures that align with market dynamics and organizational goals.
• Gather market intelligence and competitive insights to inform partnership and go‑to‑market strategies.
• Collaborate with internal product, marketing, operations and leadership teams to maximize outcomes.
• Oversee post‑signature implementation, integration and performance monitoring.
• Represent Walrus at industry events to increase visibility and generate new business.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of experience in partnerships, strategic alliances or business development within AI, data infrastructure or emerging technology sectors.
• Proven track record of sourcing, negotiating and closing complex partnership agreements with measurable impact.
• Strong understanding of Web3 business models, blockchain ecosystems and decentralized technologies.
• Demonstrated interest in the convergence of AI and decentralized tech.
