Street Dance Teacher – Foundation-wide (3 campuses)

About the role

The International School of Geneva’s ENCORE Performing Arts Academy is seeking a passionate Street Dance Teacher to work across its three campuses. You will guide students aged 5‑18 in a variety of urban dance styles, helping them build confidence, technique, and performance skills.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver a 32‑lesson curriculum covering breaking, locking, popping, hip‑hop, house and waacking for primary, middle and secondary students.
• Lead dynamic, inclusive classes that develop both solo and group choreography.
• Organise and support school‑wide dance events, showcases and end‑of‑year recitals.
• Maintain rigorous safeguarding practices and communicate regularly with families and the ENCORE team.

Required profile

• Recognised professional dance training (e.g., Bachelor’s degree) or teaching certification from ISTD, UKA or equivalent.
• Specialised qualifications such as associate‑level certificates or Level 4 Diplomas in Dance Education.
• Proven experience teaching street‑dance styles to children and teenagers.
• Strong knowledge of the foundations of breaking, locking and popping.
