Supply Chain Intern

About the role

Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) Operational Center Geneva (MSF OCG) has set up a Supply Unit to optimise the management flows (goods, information and financial) and supply processes, aiming for a sustainable and efficient supply chain. The Supply Chain intern works closely with the Supply Chain referent Back Office and the Supply Chain program manager. The internship is based in Geneva, starts in February 2027, lasts 6 to 9 months full time (40 hours per week) and requires a tripartite internship agreement.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, together with the Supply Referent Back Office, the existing reporting tools
• Take part in the development, testing, piloting and deployment of automated supply reports (business intelligence system)
• Support the program manager in improving data management in line with the OCG supply strategy
• Help document data management projects and contribute to improving data quality

Required profile

• In-progress or completed degree and specialisation in supply chain management or business analytics (business intelligence, data analytics, information management)
• Fluent French and English, with C1 level in at least one of them
• Attention to detail, structured and independent working method, good analytical and communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and flexibility

Required skills

• Experience in data modelling and reporting is a plus
• Strong affinity with IT is a plus (R Studio is a plus)
• Knowledge of a BI tool, preferably Power BI

What we offer

• Gross monthly remuneration of 2,000 CHF
• Full-time internship of 6 to 9 months starting February 2027
