Sustainability Impact Reporting & Insights Lead

About the role

Roche is looking for a Sustainability Impact Reporting & Insights Lead in Basel. The role leads the intersection of sustainability strategy, impact measurement and analytics, developing and maintaining sustainability dashboards for senior leadership (the Corporate Executive Committee, Corporate Sustainability Committee and Priority Owners) and turning complex sustainability data into clear, actionable executive insights.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain enterprise-level sustainability dashboards and deliver executive insights to senior leadership.
• Monitor group-wide progress against long-term goals, turning quantitative data into risk and opportunity assessments and executive summaries.
• Work with Sustainability Strategy Leads and SPOCs on the impact measurement workstream, establishing Roche's economic, socio-economic and environmental footprint and embedding it in external reporting.
• Manage submissions for key ESG ratings such as the Access to Medicine Index (ATMi) and EcoVadis, and benchmark Roche against industry peers to improve disclosures and rankings.
• Translate external feedback into strategic improvements and keep executive leadership informed on performance against long-term goals.

Required profile

• Master's degree or MBA in Business Administration, Sustainability, Economics, Strategy or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in a business function, ideally in a global healthcare matrix environment and/or management consulting.
• Strong leadership, networking and stakeholder management skills, able to influence cross-functional teams such as Access, HR, EHS, Investor Relations and Finance.
• Excellent written and verbal English.

Required skills

• Dashboards and visualisation tools such as Tableau and PowerBI.
• In-depth knowledge of global ESG rating frameworks and benchmarks.
• Ability to synthesise complex data and present to senior executives.
