System Development Troubleshooter

About the role

Roche Diagnostics International in Rotkreuz is seeking a System Development Troubleshooter to join its cross‑functional System Development department. You will work on the integration and verification of complex diagnostic instruments, supporting both development and product‑care phases.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct root‑cause investigations of systemic issues across all lifecycle phases and develop solutions in collaboration with other functions.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise and support to RMD Development Teams, Global Customer Support, Case Investigation and Resolution, and Operations.
• Perform internal repair visits, retrofit mechanical parts, manage configuration monitoring, and install or update instrument software.
• Plan and track assigned work packages independently, and conduct integration development activities at the component level.
• Execute statistical data analysis to support problem solving, risk assessment, product development, and process improvement.

Required profile

• Degree in Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently on cross‑departmental development tasks.
• Excellent communication skills in English and German.
• Strong analytical and interdisciplinary thinking.
