System / DevOps Engineer (Linux / Windows / Docker)

About the role

An innovative Web3 solutions business is recruiting a System / DevOps Engineer to strengthen its infrastructure and engineering capabilities. This is a hands-on technical role combining systems engineering, DevOps and infrastructure management, focused on maintaining reliable and secure infrastructure, improving deployment processes and supporting the company's technical environment. It suits someone comfortable working across both Linux and Windows.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, maintain and optimise Linux and Windows-based infrastructure
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for software development and deployment
• Manage containerised applications and services with Docker
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration and maintenance
• Implement and improve monitoring, logging and alerting
• Maintain infrastructure security, including firewalls, access management and backups
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and ensure availability and performance
• Support internal IT systems and collaborate with software engineers on reliability and deployment improvements

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience in systems engineering, DevOps, infrastructure engineering or a similar role
• Hands-on Linux administration and previous Windows experience
• Fluent English; German is an advantage but not required

• Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Infrastructure automation and configuration management tools
• Networking, firewalls, VPNs and infrastructure security
• Bash and/or Python scripting
• Advantageous: Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory
