T1 Presales Technical Consultant

About the role

HP is looking for a T1 Presales Technical Consultant in Wallisellen. The role builds client relationships, communicates the value of proposed solutions and contributes to revenue growth. It covers preparing responses to proposals, identifying scalability options, managing end-to-end solution implementation and mentoring junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with executives and senior stakeholders, building strong relationships and communicating the value of the proposed solutions.
• Work closely with the sales team, giving them technical insights and guidance to position the offerings effectively.
• Prepare responses to requests for proposals so that the technical aspects match the client's needs.
• Identify the growth path and scalability options, and generate an implementation plan that considers potential challenges and risks.
• Solve unique and complex challenges with creative, innovative solutions.
• Conduct market research on trends, customer pain points and opportunities.
• Manage the implementation of the proposed solution, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to deployment.
• Mentor junior team members in technical and consultative selling skills.
• Contribute to thought leadership such as technical articles, whitepapers and conference speaking.

Required profile

• Recommended: four-year or graduate degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field, or commensurate experience.
• Typically 10+ years of work experience, preferably in technical selling, consultative selling, account management or a related field.
