Talent Business Partner

About the role

The Talent Business Partner supports the HR Talent Partners Unit in Geneva by acting as a strategic adviser on HR matters. Working closely with sector leads, managers and staff, the role focuses on building a medium‑ and long‑term workforce that drives business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with sector leads and managers to implement the overall talent strategy and lead strategic workforce planning for assigned areas.
• Advise managers on talent opportunities, challenges and succession planning, ensuring alignment with WIPO’s mobility and performance strategies.
• Monitor workforce plans, adapt them to evolving business needs, and support the implementation of new organizational structures.
• Collaborate with the Employee Experience Unit to design integrated talent management initiatives that attract, develop and retain talent.
• Contribute to shaping organizational culture and support the achievement of business and financial targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR business partnering or talent management within an international organization.
• Strong understanding of strategic workforce planning, succession planning and employee experience design.
• Excellent advisory and relationship‑building skills with senior leaders and staff.
• Ability to influence talent strategies and drive cultural initiatives.
