Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

The client is looking for an experienced, business‑oriented HR Business Partner to join its Human Resources team in Switzerland. You will work closely with leaders and employees, providing both strategic and operational HR support in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with managers and leadership to align people strategies with business objectives.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, talent development, compensation and organizational effectiveness.
• Support workforce planning, recruitment, and talent retention initiatives.
• Coach managers on leadership, people management and employee engagement.
• Contribute to succession planning and development of key talent.
• Monitor HR trends, metrics and workforce data to inform decisions.
• Ensure compliance with Swiss employment legislation and internal policies.
• Participate in HR projects, process improvements and change initiatives.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in HR, preferably as an HR Business Partner, Senior HR Generalist or HR Manager.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss labour law and HR best practices.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with managers and stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in performance management, talent development and organisational change.
• Comfortable working with HR systems and data to support business decisions.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
• Pragmatic, proactive and solution‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Fluent in French and English; additional languages (German or Italian) are a plus.
