Team Leader Operational Risk & Resilience

About the role

Cembra Money Bank AG is hiring a Team Leader for Operational Risk & Resilience in its Finance & Risk Management division, based in Zurich. You will lead a hybrid, cross-border team and guide the group's network of operational risk and resilience champions, working in the second line.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, execute and oversee the Cembra Group's operational risk and resilience framework, including BCM, third-party risk, ICT and cyber risk management
• Manage and limit the Group's operational risk exposure
• With the team, identify risks, run risk assessments and ensure controls and mitigation measures are implemented
• Improve, simplify and automate processes, using AI solutions where possible
• Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives on operational risk and the control framework
• Oversee timely execution of risk controls and report periodically to committees and business forums
• Analyse trends and benchmarks and promote a strong risk culture

Required profile

• 10+ years of operational risk, resilience or BCM experience in financial services or consultancy
• Risk management, risk control or audit background
• Seasoned leader with a growth mindset, committed to team development
• Deep knowledge of Swiss and international regulations such as FINMA circulars and guidelines, KKG
• Good stakeholder management and ability to work in hybrid or remote teams
• Clear communication in English and German; other languages are beneficial
