About the role
Google is looking for a Technical Program Manager to lead its Privacy and Trust Incident Response team. You will act as a trust anchor, coordinating rapid triage, risk mitigation, and data remediation for privacy incidents across Alphabet’s products.
Key responsibilities
- Organize and lead cross‑functional response teams to investigate and resolve privacy incidents.
- Shape and improve processes and tools for company‑wide privacy incident management.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Legal, Communications and other partners to drive project‑level improvements.
- Present incident post‑mortems and project updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross‑functional projects within specific product areas and ensure clear team communications.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of program‑management experience, preferably in privacy incident management, cybersecurity response, or crisis management.
- Experience with system architecture, technical troubleshooting, security/privacy standards, operations management, or enterprise software.
- Proven ability to drive QA, privacy, or security improvements at project or team level.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with engineering and product partners.
