Technical Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead complex projects in high‑risk industrial environments such as chemical, oil & gas, and process industries. You will ensure technical excellence, safety compliance, and successful delivery while coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage technical projects in chemical, oil & gas, and process sectors.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams across engineering, safety, and operations.
• Ensure compliance with process safety regulations and standards (e.g., ATEX, hazardous/explosion‑prone areas).
• Perform and review engineering calculations and documentation, including P&IDs.
• Conduct and support risk assessments such as HAZOP, HAZID, and PSM.
• Oversee design, implementation, and optimisation of process systems and industrial equipment.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables while guaranteeing safe handling of hazardous substances and gas systems.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in chemical, oil & gas, energy or related process industries.
• Strong expertise in process safety and explosion risk management (ATEX or equivalent).
• Hands‑on experience with hazardous substances, gas systems and risk‑assessment methodologies.
• Fluent German language skills (mandatory).
