About the role
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead medium‑size LV & MV transformer and reactor projects within our Business Unit Transformers in Ticino. The role involves planning, coordinating resources, and ensuring compliance with Hitachi Energy policies, quality, health, safety and environmental standards.
Key responsibilities
- Develop project schedules and determine resource requirements.
- Monitor and report on project status, including cost, timing and staffing.
- Ensure adherence to internal and external quality standards (e.g., ISO).
- Manage after‑sales projects to fulfil customer needs.
- Identify and resolve obstacles to keep projects on time and within budget.
- Integrate vendor tasks into project plans and track deliverables where required.
Required profile
- Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- 2‑3 years proven project‑management experience with transformers and reactors.
- Strong communication skills in English and Italian.
- Ability to work under pressure, organise tasks and motivate a project team.
- Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
