Technical Solutions Consultant – Pre‑Sales

About the role

Avaloq is looking for an experienced Technical Solutions Consultant to join its Global Solutions Consulting team. You will design end‑to‑end banking solutions, support commercial activities and lead RFP/RFI processes for private banking, wealth management and universal banking clients across Europe and North America.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the technical authority for sales opportunities, leading client workshops, solution presentations and due‑diligence sessions.
• Translate business, regulatory and IT requirements into Avaloq‑based solution architectures.
• Manage high‑quality RFP/RFI responses, define solution scope, risks, assumptions and cost drivers.
• Design comprehensive solutions covering Avaloq Core Platform, digital channels, APIs, integration patterns, data analytics, reporting and regulatory tooling.
• Define non‑functional requirements such as security, IAM, data protection, high availability, disaster recovery and performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technical solution consulting or pre‑sales within the banking or wealth‑management sector.
• Strong ability to engage senior client stakeholders (CIO, COO, Head of Operations, Enterprise Architecture).
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to both business and technical audiences.
