Technology Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Technology Procurement Specialist will lead end‑to‑end sourcing for IT, Digital and Information Security categories across the EFG Group. You will act as the primary advisor to technology and corporate stakeholders, ensuring cost‑effective, compliant and timely procurement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and negotiation for technology categories, securing competitive pricing, service levels and contractual terms.
• Manage the full procurement lifecycle from needs identification and specification definition to contract signature and purchase order creation.
• Translate business requirements into sourcing strategies, defining technical and commercial criteria with IT, Digital and Information Security teams.
• Use data analytics to assess spend patterns, supplier performance and market trends, identifying cost‑reduction and risk‑mitigation opportunities.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Risk, Compliance and Operations to reconcile invoices, manage inventory and verify deliveries.
• Promote standardised procurement processes and tools across the group, supporting change management and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field; further education in Procurement or Technology is preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of operational and strategic procurement experience in technology (IT, Digital, Information Security), preferably in banking and an international environment.
• Proven track record managing end‑to‑end RFP processes and working with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Fluency in English; additional Swiss national language is a plus.
