Temenos Configuration Specialist - Credit / Lending

About the role

As a Temenos Configuration Specialist focusing on Credit and Lending, you will lead the functional configuration, integration, testing and deployment of Temenos lending capabilities for a major Swiss financial institution. You will translate business and credit‑policy requirements into robust Temenos solutions that support the full loan lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Configure lending products, credit agreements, limits, pricing, fees, repayment schedules and collateral linkages within Temenos Core/Transact.
• Perform fit‑gap and impact analyses, creating functional designs, configuration workbooks and parameter specifications.
• Collaborate with architects and integration teams on interfaces to credit‑origination, risk, collateral, payments, GL and reporting systems.
• Define functional test scenarios, support system integration, user acceptance and regression testing, and validate end‑to‑end loan lifecycle.
• Analyse defects, trace root causes in configuration or calculations, coordinate remediation and validate fixes.
• Facilitate workshops with credit product owners, risk, operations and technology stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve design decisions.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in banking technology, lending or core‑banking transformation.
• At least 4 years of hands‑on experience with Temenos, preferably Temenos Core/Transact lending modules.
• Strong functional knowledge of the full lending lifecycle and credit‑exposure management.
• Proven ability to configure, troubleshoot and support Temenos lending products across facilities, limits, pricing and collateral.
• Experience working in complex banking programmes with multiple stakeholders.
• Professional fluency in English (C1 level) and ability to produce clear functional documentation.
