Tender Specialist (80-100%)

About the role

Join Hitachi Energy's Global Competence Center Power Conversion team to lead tendering activities for Grid Integration solutions, focusing on Power Conversion (Static Frequency System Applications). You will create competitive bids, estimates, and quotations for innovative solutions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements during the acquisition phase and shape winning sales strategies.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders internationally to produce accurate tender documents.
• Prepare comprehensive, technically sound commercial offers and integrate supplier inputs.
• Present bids, provide technical support in customer meetings, and ensure seamless transition to project execution.

Required profile

• Previous experience in bid management, sales support, project management or similar.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Fluency in English and German; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% of working time.

Required skills

• Bid management and tender preparation.
• Power Electronics knowledge.
• Experience with MC Frequency Converters and Power Quality applications.
• Understanding of Grid Integration solutions.
