Test Environment and Data Specialist (11‑month contract)

About the role

The Test Environment and Data Specialist ensures high‑quality software delivery for the Client Lifecycle Management Agile Release Train by maintaining stable, compliant test environments and managing synthetic and anonymised test data.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, configure, monitor and maintain multiple test environments, keeping documentation up‑to‑date in Confluence.
• Coordinate regular environment refreshes, patches, upgrades and incident resolution in line with change‑control processes.
• Own the full test‑data lifecycle: sourcing, preparation, provisioning, anonymisation and retirement, ensuring consistency across paired environments.
• Provide self‑service workflows, guidelines and tooling for Scrum Teams to request and obtain test data efficiently.
• Support troubleshooting of access, connectivity and defect issues and act as escalation point for environment‑related impediments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in test environment and test data management within large, regulated enterprises.
• Strong coordination and communication skills, able to enforce governance across many Scrum Teams.
• Familiarity with scaled‑agile frameworks, especially Agile Release Trains (ART) and Scrum.
• Experience collaborating with CI/CD engineers to embed environment setups into automated pipelines.
