Third-Party Risk Manager – CRO Non-Financial Risk

About the role

Julius Baer is looking for a risk professional to join its Third‑Party Risk Management unit, a second‑line defence function that maintains and develops the TPRM framework. The role supports global rollout of the framework and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Support end‑to‑end implementation and global rollout of the third‑party risk management framework, defining business use cases and functional requirements for IT and AI‑enabled solutions.
• Assist the Risk Type Owner with portfolio risk assessments, operational case reviews, control monitoring and regulatory reporting, and compile quantitative and qualitative reporting packages for committees.
• Maintain central documentation, develop training materials and deliver training sessions, and coordinate stakeholder meetings to track progress and conduct quality checks globally.

Required profile

• University degree (preferably in economics or law) with 3‑5 years of experience in non‑financial risk management, preferably from management consulting or an accounting/law firm.
• Strong knowledge of outsourcing/third‑party risk regulations, familiarity with ServiceNow for process automation, and ability to formulate clear business requirements for IT implementations.
• Excellent analytical, project delivery, presentation and communication skills, self‑motivated, team‑oriented and fluent in German and English.
