Trade Compliance Expert

About the role

You will join Richemont’s growing Trade Compliance department, supporting the luxury watchmaking business with expertise in customs regulations and free‑trade agreements. The role combines regulatory monitoring, risk assessment, training delivery and cross‑functional project work.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse customs regulations and free‑trade agreements, assess related risks and business impacts, and manage escalation processes.
• Design and deliver large‑scale training sessions on customs operations excellence and the use of free‑trade agreements.
• Collaborate with project managers to implement projects that improve customs processes and FTAs management.
• Draft top‑management memos, guidance documents, tools, and internal communications on trade compliance topics.
• Provide expert advice to international stakeholders and build a network of external partners such as industry associations, consultants and authorities.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in trade compliance, consulting, training, research or content writing in an international environment.
• Master’s degree in Law, Economics or a related field (EU, Swiss or US university preferred).
• Fluent French (non‑negotiable) and strong English communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, navigate complex organisational dynamics and influence senior management.
