Travel Experience Specialist Trainee (100%)

About the role

MyMountains develops exclusive travel experiences with local communities. As a Travel Experience Specialist Trainee (100%), you will plan travel itineraries and coordinate hotels, transport, guides, restaurants and activities to deliver exceptional experiences within budget. Planning is the main focus, with room to contribute ideas and help develop new experiences. The role suits someone who enjoys a hands-on, fast-paced environment and speaks fluent German and English.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the pool of tour guides and ski instructors: availability, bookings and contracts.
• Manage bookings for hotels, restaurants, trains, entrance tickets and activities.
• Prepare and update detailed client itineraries.
• Negotiate rates and conditions with suppliers.
• Prepare quotations and travel proposals for day tours.
• Provide customer support by phone and email.
• Take part in weekend and public holiday duty rotations (at least two weekends per month during peak season).

Required profile

• Degree in Tourism or 1-3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Fluent German and excellent English; other languages are a plus.
• Swiss citizenship or legal authorization to reside and work in Switzerland.
• A skier or hiker is a plus.
