Vice President, Supply Chain, Integrated Biologics

About the role

The Vice President, Supply Chain, Integrated Biologics leads the end‑to‑end supply chain organization for Lonza’s Integrated Biologics platform, driving strategy, execution and transformation across a global network.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute supply chain strategy aligned with customer commitments, growth priorities, capacity and financial objectives.
• Lead site and global supply chain functions, building high‑performing teams and ensuring accountability and succession.
• Ensure reliable customer delivery through integrated demand‑supply planning, production planning, logistics and inventory management.
• Develop network, capacity and inventory strategies that balance service, resilience, working capital and risk while supporting growth programs.
• Drive transformation via process standardisation, digital enablement, automation and advanced planning capabilities.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Commercial, Finance, Procurement and other functions to manage risks and ensure regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field; MBA preferred.
• Extensive senior leadership experience in end‑to‑end supply chain within a complex global pharmaceutical/biotech environment.
• Broad expertise in demand and supply planning, S&OP, production planning, inventory, logistics, warehousing and network planning.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑site, international networks and drive large‑scale transformation and digitalisation.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen with ability to balance service, cost, working capital and risk.
• Fluent English; APICS and/or Lean Six Sigma qualifications are a plus.
