Visual Merchandising Manager

About the role

As Visual Merchandising Manager you will shape the retail experience and visual identity of Universal Genève across boutiques, retail partners, shop‑in‑shops and special events worldwide. You will work closely with Creative, Marketing and Retail teams to turn brand stories into refined physical experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop window displays, retail animations and visual concepts that reflect the Maison’s heritage and contemporary vision.
• Create visual merchandising concepts for product launches, special editions, exhibitions, events and pop‑up experiences.
• Coordinate production, logistics and installations to ensure flawless delivery of visual assets.
• Provide guidance and customized solutions to markets and retail partners for consistent implementation.
• Develop visual merchandising guidelines, manuals and training sessions for retail teams and brand ambassadors.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in visual merchandising, retail design, interior design, architecture or related creative fields.
• Proven project‑management experience in luxury or premium retail environments.
• Education in visual merchandising, interior design, retail design, architecture or a related discipline.
• Fluent in English; additional languages such as French, Italian or German are a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience with 3D visualization tools (SketchUp, Rhino or similar).
• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems (optional).
