About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing Swiss technology scale‑up operating in cybersecurity, digital identity and fintech, is seeking a VP Commercial to own the commercial function and drive international expansion. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will shape the go‑to‑market strategy and lead high‑performing sales and partnership teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Define and execute the overall commercial strategy, including pricing, positioning, channel and go‑to‑market plans.
  • Lead, scale and mentor direct and indirect sales teams as well as partnership functions.
  • Set ambitious revenue targets and ensure delivery across European markets.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with enterprise clients and key ecosystem partners.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing and Operations to align market needs with the product roadmap.
  • Represent the company at C‑level with clients, partners and investors.

Required profile

  • Proven experience as VP Commercial, Chief Commercial Officer or Head of Sales in a tech or SaaS scale‑up (8‑10+ years in senior commercial roles).
  • Track record of scaling revenue from early‑stage to double‑digit million ARR.
  • Deep knowledge of the DACH region and broader European markets.
  • Expertise in complex enterprise sales and recurring SaaS revenue models.
  • Charismatic leadership with a history of building high‑performing teams.
  • Entrepreneurial, results‑driven mindset comfortable in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Fluent in English and German; additional Italian or French is a plus.
