Vulnerability Operations Center Lead

About the role

Join a cutting‑edge technology organization focused on AI infrastructure and lead the creation of a Vulnerability Operations Center in Switzerland. You will be responsible for protecting large‑scale cloud, infrastructure, and hardware environments through strategic, hands‑on security leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead the Vulnerability Operations Center, defining processes, governance, and best practices for the full vulnerability management lifecycle.
• Manage detection, validation, triage, remediation tracking, and reporting across cloud, product, and hardware environments.
• Enhance automated triage with data enrichment, AI‑assisted workflows, contextual risk scoring, and vulnerability correlation.
• Perform hands‑on validation and prioritization of critical and zero‑day findings.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, compliance, and operations teams to ensure timely remediation.
• Drive patch‑management improvements and oversee remediation across multiple engineering groups.
• Handle vulnerability intake from scanners, pen‑tests, bug bounty programs, and threat‑intelligence sources.
• Define metrics, monitor trends, and present actionable KPIs to security leadership.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of information‑security experience, including at least 3 years in vulnerability management or security operations.
• Deep knowledge of vulnerability assessment methodologies and risk‑based prioritization frameworks.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced, international environment.
