Working Student - Digital Roadmap and Process Improvements

About the role

A global team at Roche in Basel, Penzberg and San Francisco shapes the digital roadmap and drives continuous process improvements for the Clinical Manufacturing Network. It is looking for a highly motivated student for a one-year internship / working student position. The candidate will work on organizational support, business analysis, documentation and a small AI use case.

Key responsibilities

• Organizational and project support: assist with organizational tasks, project management and tracking of Digital & Operational Excellence milestones.
• Business analysis: analyze clinical manufacturing processes, identify business needs and define requirements for data-driven solutions.
• Documentation: support presentations, reports and training materials, and research new digital tools or technology trends.
• AI use case: lead a mini-project researching, conceptualizing and possibly piloting a small AI use case to solve an internal challenge or streamline a process.
• Global communication: support internal communication so global stakeholders stay aligned and informed.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a university degree program (e.g. Business Informatics, Business Administration, Innovation Management, Computer Science or similar).
• Fluent English, written and spoken, as you will work with a global team.
• Continuous enrollment at a university or higher education institution throughout the employment period.
• Interest in digitalization, process optimization and emerging technologies, especially AI.

Required skills

• Google and MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel); experience with process mapping or project management tools is a plus.
• Good organizational skills, proactive approach and strong communication skills.
