Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Information Systems at UNSW

About the role

The School of Information Systems & Technology Management at UNSW Business School is seeking two tenure‑track academics – a Lecturer (Level B) and a Senior Lecturer (Level C) – in the fields of Information Systems, Business Analytics or Operations Management. The positions are based on the Kensington campus in Sydney and are full‑time, permanent roles.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct scholarly research and professional activities at national and international levels.
• Deliver high‑quality teaching in technical and business analytics courses.
• Engage with industry and professional communities and contribute to school leadership.
• For Senior Lecturer: provide educational leadership and drive excellence in research and teaching.

Required profile

• PhD in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Operations Management or a closely related field (by end‑2026).
• Demonstrated record of research and teaching excellence.
• Experience teaching technical subjects such as cybersecurity, AI, databases, networking or business analytics (highly desirable).
• Ability to obtain visa sponsorship and relocate if required.
