About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team for a six‑month fixed‑term contract. You will provide Level 2 support to end‑users, ensuring smooth operation of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and related peripherals while maintaining compliance with security policies.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver Level 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, meeting rooms, printers and peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 suite (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive), VPN and collaboration tools.
  • Manage user accounts and access in on‑prem Active Directory and Azure AD (Entra ID), including onboarding and off‑boarding.
  • Install, configure and maintain hardware and software according to company standards.
  • Monitor and resolve incidents and service requests using ServiceNow.
  • Perform root‑cause analysis and escalate complex issues to Level 3 teams.
  • Support LAN/WAN/Wi‑Fi, VPN and firewall connectivity issues.
  • Ensure adherence to IT security policies, data‑protection and audit requirements.
  • Maintain documentation for procedures, configurations and troubleshooting guides.
  • Assist in IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations and tool roll‑outs.
  • Provide user training on best practices and security awareness.

Required profile

  • 5–6 years of hands‑on experience in IT/Desktop/End‑User Support.
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German.

Required skills

  • Windows 10/11 operating systems.
  • Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
  • Active Directory and Azure AD (Entra ID).
  • Basic networking concepts: DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN.
  • Endpoint management tools such as Microsoft Intune.
  • ITSM tools (ServiceNow) and ITIL framework.
  • Firewall and VPN troubleshooting.
