About the role

Join Kempinski’s prestigious hotel in St. Moritz as an Apprentice Cook (Koch EFZ). You will work alongside experienced chefs to deliver high‑quality cuisine for guests during both the bustling summer and winter seasons, while completing the theoretical part of your training at the school hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare food according to the instructions of the station chef, sous‑chef, or head chef.
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene at your workstation.
• Ensure timely delivery of dishes and support other stations when workload permits.
• Check, store, and process incoming goods and inventory.
• Collaborate with service and stewarding departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Observe occupational safety regulations at all times.

Required profile

• At least 17 years old at the start of the apprenticeship.
• Completed internships in hotel or catering environments.
• Strong commitment, team spirit, and independence.
• Very good German and English language skills.
• Professional appearance and enjoyment of guest interaction.
• Interest in international career development within Kempinski after completion.
