Business Relationship Manager

About the role

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is looking for an experienced Business Relationship Manager to lead the delivery of IT services and solutions to Swiss mid‑tier and cantonal banks as well as other financial institutions. You will act as the primary liaison between TCS and banking clients, driving growth and ensuring the successful implementation of technology initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with Swiss banking clients, including mid‑tier and cantonal banks.
• Identify and acquire new clients, managing the full sales lifecycle from market targeting to contract closure.
• Lead proposal development, opportunity shaping, and deal negotiations.
• Own revenue targets, pipeline creation, and forecast accuracy for assigned accounts.
• Collaborate with internal delivery teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Report regularly to senior management on sales performance and market opportunities.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in business relationship management, sales, and delivery within Swiss banking IT.
• Bilingual in German and English; additional Swiss language skills are a plus.
• Proven track record with Swiss mid‑tier and cantonal banks.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Deep understanding of Swiss financial regulations and technology trends.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, finance, IT, or a related field preferred.
