Climate and Investment Consultant (Remote, 5‑month contract)

About the role

The United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI) is seeking a Climate and Investment Consultant to support its work for COP31 and the Investor Agenda. This five‑month, remote consultancy will involve coordinating activities across UNEP FI’s climate team, contributing to investor guidance, and facilitating communication among partners and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and manage UNEP FI’s COP31 engagement activities.
• Support the development of climate‑related investor guidance and reporting tools.
• Assist with policy‑related work and the preparation of relevant documentation.
• Coordinate communication between the UNEP FI Secretariat, Investor Agenda partners, members, and external stakeholders.
• Monitor progress of initiatives and provide regular updates to the Climate Team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sustainable finance, climate policy, or related fields.
• Strong coordination and project‑management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
