Customer Care Coordinator

About the role

As a Customer Care Coordinator at SGS, you will support the delivery of inspection and laboratory services for international clients within the Mineral Commodities business. You will act as the main point of contact for client enquiries, coordinate global product line operations and ensure smooth communication between clients and SGS affiliates worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and coordinate global product line operations for mineral commodities clients.
• Respond to client enquiries regarding inspection and laboratory services and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate activities with SGS affiliates worldwide and communicate progress to clients.
• Analyse and cross‑check inspection data, reviewing reports and certificates to ensure they meet client requirements.
• Ensure compliance with inspection protocols, business policies and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate billing procedures with affiliates, generate client invoices and assist with accounts receivable activities.
• Maintain job files in accordance with internal control requirements.

Required profile

• University degree in a marine, technical, chemical or commercial discipline.
• Minimum three years of experience in back‑office functions and client service.
• Working knowledge of metals commodities trade inspections.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with Oracle BOSS (Order Management module) – desirable.
