Director - Cloud, Data & AI (Generative AI)

About the role

PwC Switzerland is seeking a Director to lead its Cloud, Data & AI practice with a focus on Generative AI. You will act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through AI adoption and helping them unlock business value.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client engagements and coordinate PwC teams to deliver AI solutions.
• Lead workshops and discussions to identify AI use cases and align solutions with business challenges.
• Gather client requirements, propose state‑of‑the‑art AI and cloud solutions, and oversee implementation.
• Anticipate and mitigate risks related to data privacy, security, and model performance.
• Continuously apply best practices in technology, data engineering, analytics, and consulting.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or PhD in AI, computer science, physics, mathematics, engineering or related fields (preferred).
• 10+ years of experience with AI technologies, including recent work in Generative AI and cloud‑based AI platforms.
• Proven track record delivering impactful AI projects and strong network in the AI ecosystem.
• Experience in AI leadership roles; consulting background is a plus.
• Demonstrated go‑to‑market experience in the Swiss market and fluency in English; German or French is a plus.
• Willingness to travel within Switzerland and occasionally internationally.
