Event Sales Coordinator – Hospitality

About the role

We are seeking an Event Sales Coordinator to join our team at Baur au Lac, a historic luxury hotel. The role supports the planning and execution of corporate and private events, ensuring a seamless experience for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all phases of event sales, from initial inquiry to post‑event follow‑up.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and contracts in line with hotel standards.
• Liaise with internal departments (catering, rooms, marketing) to guarantee service delivery.
• Maintain the event calendar and ensure accurate booking information.
• Assist in developing promotional material and sales strategies for the events portfolio.

Required profile

• Motivated, committed and creative personality.
• Strong empathy, attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Passion for hospitality and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
