Head of Corporate Audit (80-100% FTE)

About the role

As Head of Corporate Audit you will lead Skyguide’s internal audit function, ensuring independent, objective assurance and consulting that adds value to the organisation. Reporting to the Executive Board and the Finance & Audit Committee, you will shape governance, risk and control processes across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and present an annual risk‑based audit plan to the Executive Board and Finance & Audit Committee.
• Provide strategic leadership to the Corporate Audit team, fostering professional development and methodological excellence.
• Evaluate governance, risk and control effectiveness across all business areas and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate internal audit activities with Risk Management, Controlling, External Audit and Legal & Compliance.
• Serve as primary contact for regulatory audits and manage cross‑border audit projects within the IntACT network.
• Conduct audits in line with IPPF standards and deliver clear, actionable reports to senior management and the Board.
• Continuously evolve audit methodologies, incorporating modern, forward‑looking approaches.

Required profile

• University degree with CIA or CPA certification; aviation industry experience is a plus.
• Extensive experience in internal audit and project management.
• Proven ability to work with executive and board‑level stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills in German or French and English.
• Assertive, results‑driven personality with a collaborative leadership style.
