HR Generalist

About the role

Adnovum is looking for an HR Generalist who enjoys combining hands-on HR operations with direct employee support. The role keeps day-to-day People operations running smoothly while supporting employees and managers across a wide range of HR topics.

Key responsibilities

• Manage operational and administrative activities across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to off-boarding
• Act as first point of contact for employees and managers on People processes, policies and day-to-day HR matters
• Handle employee relations cases and conduct employee meetings, including supporting managers in difficult situations
• Apply Swiss employment law and social insurance knowledge, escalating complex or high-risk cases when needed
• Maintain employee data in SAP and ensure high data quality
• Support employees and managers with HR system questions
• Maintain People policies, guidelines and internal documentation
• Work with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and other People functions to deliver a seamless employee experience
• Support Talent Acquisition with selected hiring activities and contribute to a positive candidate experience

Required profile

• Several years of experience in HR operations, HR administration or a comparable HR Generalist role in Switzerland, combining operational work with direct employee support
• Practical knowledge of Swiss employment law and social insurance
• Experience handling employee cases and conversations with employees and managers
• HR-specific qualification (Swiss HR-Fachausweis) considered an advantage
• Strong service orientation, communication skills and discretion with confidential information
• Structured, hands-on and independent working style with attention to detail
• Very good German and English

Required skills

• Experience with HR systems; SAP or SuccessFactors knowledge is an advantage
• Good Microsoft Office skills
